Rope-Driven Manure Scraper System
The Spinder rope-driven manure scraper system is a reliable and efficient solution for keeping livestock housing clean, dry, and hygienic. Designed with both cow welfare and ease of use in mind, this system ensures consistent manure removal while operating smoothly within the barn environment.
The system consists of two drive units with drum drive, connected by durable Spinder PE rope, along with plastic corner wheels and one or more scrapers. This setup allows for flexible installation across a wide range of barn layouts, including free stall systems with uneven passage lengths. Its rope-driven design makes it particularly animal-friendly, operating quietly and without disruption to livestock.
Built for long-term durability, the system features a heavy-duty, hot-dip galvanised frame, complete with a winding drum and motor reductor. The Spinder PE rope is available in 8 mm or 10 mm thickness, offering high tensile strength of up to 9000 kg. Low-maintenance plastic corner wheels ensure smooth operation, while integrated controls such as a digital timer, frost protection, and emergency stop provide safe and automated functionality.
The drive units can be installed directly onto the floor or mounted on a console, and can be positioned either inside or outside the barn depending on your setup. This system is particularly well suited to barns with an odd number of manure alleys and is compatible with both combi-scraper and slatted floor scraper configurations.
By maintaining cleaner passageways, the system helps to improve overall herd hygiene, resulting in cleaner cubicles, reduced hoof problems, and less reliance on bedding materials such as straw or sawdust. Cleaner cows also contribute to more efficient and hygienic milking routines.
