The Spinder Vetvice Sandcubicle is a specialist freestall divider developed specifically for sand-bedded cubicles, in collaboration with Vetvice Barn Design Consultancy. Designed to optimise both cow comfort and farm efficiency, this system provides excellent guidance while allowing for easy maintenance of sand-based stalls.
The unique shape of the divider creates ample clearance beneath the structure, making it possible to mechanically level the sand on a regular basis. This ensures the cubicle remains comfortable for the cow while also reducing labour for the farmer. Sand bedding is widely recognised for its comfort and hygiene benefits, and the Vetvice Sandcubicle is engineered to maximise these advantages.
Suitable for cubicles with a width of 120 cm or more (centre to centre), the system is supplied with a matching waved neck rail and head rail or strap to ensure correct cow positioning. The design encourages cows to lie straight within the cubicle, helping to maintain cleanliness and improve overall stall hygiene.
For optimal results, a net cubicle length of 185 cm is recommended. The knee rail should typically be positioned with its top no more than 8 cm above the rear edge, with adjustable options available to tailor the setup to your herd.
