Spinder’s slatted floor scraper is designed with a modular structure, allowing it to be tailored to suit different types of slatted floors, with or without a rubber top layer, and adapted to individual dung passages.
Starting from a robust base frame, each scraper can be configured to match the specific requirements of your housing system. This flexibility ensures optimal scraping performance while maintaining compatibility with modern low-emission flooring systems.
Spinder offers two main models within this range:
Slatted Floor Scraper with Two Star Wheels
This model is equipped with two durable rubber star wheels positioned on either side of the scraper. These allow the unit to move smoothly around obstacles such as standpipes, feed fronts, and water lines, ensuring uninterrupted operation and consistent cleaning across the entire passage.
Slatted Floor Scraper with One Star Wheel
For enhanced animal welfare, this version is designed to be approximately 50 cm shorter and includes a single rubber star wheel. It is particularly suited for use between the cubicle area and feeding passage, providing effective cleaning while maintaining safe and comfortable movement for livestock.
Engineered for durability and performance, the scraper features a wear-resistant rubber strip that delivers thorough cleaning of slatted floors. Its design minimises protruding parts, reducing the risk of injury to animals while ensuring smooth operation. The scraper also includes precise depth adjustment, allowing it to be set accurately for different floor types and conditions.
Available in a wide range of widths, the system can be adapted to suit various barn layouts:
